Montgomery county has been named america’s 2nd ranked digital county government in the united states by the center for digital government and the national association of counties (naco). Earlier this year, the department won four national association of counties (naco) awards for developing innovative and effective solutions.

Montgomery county has won 163 naco achievement awards since the beginning of the elrich administration in 2019, including three best in category awards. Montgomery county programs have earned 34 national association of counties (naco) achievement awards for 2023.
